THE WORD FOR TODAY Friday 08.05.2026

For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do
send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord GOD. And they, whether they will hear, or
whether they will forbear, for they are a rebellious house,
yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be
afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with
thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid
of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though
they be a rebellious house.

Ezek. 2:4-6

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your
feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And
take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with
all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
